"Item shown to be available on-line was not in stock. I was told over the phone that enquiries would be made to see if the item could be brought in within a short time and that I would be called back about this matter. I waited a few days and no one called or left message so I had to rush to buy another anniversary gift quickly elsewhere.
I understand that there may be difficulties in stocking during COVID times. However, the promise to call me back should have been kept, especially knowing that the gift was important and time-sensitive."

"I placed my order online & received a message indicating that I would be contacted either by phone or e-mail in order to secure my credit card information. I did, in fact, receive a phone call & a message was left for me to call back. I attempted to reach the store on three different occasions, calling the number that had been left for me. Each time the phone rang & rang - there was no answer, nor was there any way for me to leave a message. I have now ordered the items I was after via an alternative source. I will point out that this was a substantial order that I had hoped to give to a local retailer."
